Nigerian Disability Association, UK Appoints Prince (Dr) J. Olu A- Adegbite as the President
The Nigerian Disability Forum, United Kingdom recently appoints Prince (Dr) J. Olu A- Adegbite as the President of the organisation.
Prince (Dr) J. Olu A- Adegbite who was born in Nigeria in 1950 left Nigeria for United Kingdom in 1988. While attending college, he decided to set up a cleaning business to support himself. However, in 2000, an unfortunate fatal accident confined him to a wheel chair after spending several months in the Hospital. Instead of being dejected, Prince (Dr) J. Olu A- Adegbite turned his disability in ability; he decided to set up the Mobility Help For Disabled, an organisation that focuses on empowering the disabled and the elderly one in United Kingdom and Africa.
For years later, Prince (Dr) J. Olu A- Adegbite met the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Southwark, Harriet Herman and Tony Blair, the former Prime Minister. Today, Prince (Dr) J. Olu A- Adegbite is a member of several prestigious organisations such as the Westminster Abbey Association and the Central Association of Nigerians in the United Kingdom (CANUK), an organisation formed by the NIgeria High Commission in the United Kingdom.
Prince (Dr) J. Olu A- Adegbite who is also an elderly statesman in his church and community has received a Honorary Doctorate Degree for his social impacts (and achievements) and several awards and recognition.
