- What we do
According to the World Report on Disability (WRD) published by World Bank and World Health Organization (WHO), over 1 billion people are living with one form of disability or another.
That is about 15% of the world population. Most of the people living with disabilities often do not receive needed health care, and some can barely afford decent health care. Most of them are unemployed, experience dependency and restricted participation in the society where they find themselves. And so, they are enveloped in their world of loneliness and hopelessness. To help the disabled see the ability in their disabilities is the focus of Mobility Help for Disabled Foundation.
